Uma "उमा " : name of a Hindu Goddess "Parvati", a mother
The word Uma in Sanskrit derives from a name of Hindu Godddess, Parvati who is worshipped as a motherly figure. Ma also means mother in Nepali and Sanskrit.
Uma has been knitted with the same love that a mother gives to her child. The plaited handles alone remind us of the childhood hairstyle our mothers would give us. She is a reminder of unwavering love and hope.
The bag has one spacious main compartment and is supported by two beautiful plaited handles. Sea/Moss Green colour have been naturally dyed, achieved using Tea/ Veg leaves.
